The President’s Message -
1st Quarter
2008
Dear
Members and Supply Chain Leaders in Arizona,
As president this year, it my duty to keep you
informed of the Board of Director’s goals for the 2007-2008 fiscal year. I
am pleased to say that we have made progress on three of the goals we
established last year 2007-2008 in the Board’s August Planning Session.
2007/2008 Goals
Goal #1:
Increase paid membership by June 30,
2008 to 520.
Update:
We had 117 new members in 2007 for a total of 483 paid members. To
reach our goal, we still need to recruit 37 more new members. I ask
each of you to look around your work force to see if you can add to our
membership.
Goal #2:
Establish member satisfaction survey and
determine baseline for future planning.
Update: On October 12, 2007, a
survey was sent to our membership. We received many suggestions.
Shortening the length of the evening received the most comments with an
idea of having only one speaker. Because of this request, we will be
adjusting our next few meetings to try this option. More details will
follow in an email blast to the membership.
Goal #3: Education
Goal #4: Promotional
We are listed in The Business
Journal Listing of Professional Associations/Individuals. This
is the first time we have ever been listed!
We will be at the 19th Annual
Facilities Expo Show on April 9th & 10th at the Phoenix Convention
Center. NAPM Arizona will be an Associate Sponsor of the event
This would not have been possible without
your NAPM-Arizona Board of Directors. The Board is made up of some talented
individuals who volunteer their time for the improvement of our
organization. We also appreciate your continued support with membership in
NAPM-Arizona.

the upcoming year at our monthly meetings.
