The President’s Message -
1st Quarter
2007
Dear
Members and Supply Chain Leaders in Arizona,
I
hope everyone had a great Holiday Season! Time is flying by and we are
already starting a new year.
As
president this year, it my duty to keep you informed of the progress of the
Board of Director’s goals for the 2006/2007 fiscal year. I am pleased to
say that we have made some progress on a few of the goals we established in
the Board’s August Planning Session. Such as:
Goal
Update
-
Goal #1 – Website
Improvement – Prior to our improvements to the
www.napmaz.org website, the site was referred to as tired and not
user friendly. I am proud to say that we have improved the overall look,
feel, and functionality of the site. Knowing that website management is
not our expertise, we enlisted the help of web master Jim Haining who
has done a wonderful job along with our very own Nancy Roker in the
development of the new website. Great job to everyone involved.
-
Goal #2 –
Increasing the Membership – We are steadily increasing the
membership. President-Elect J.C. Campbell has thoroughly embraced this
goal and tracks the membership on a monthly basis.
-
Goal #3 – Speaker
Improvement – Although subjective, our lineup for speakers is
incredible for the 2007 year starting with favorites such as our 2007
Economic Forecast in January with Dr Stephen Happel and Wayne Stutzer.
Please check the Calendar for the upcoming events.
-
Goal #4 –
Continue to offer Education Seminars and Review Sessions – We are
continuing to offer comprehensive Education Seminars and Review
Sessions.
-
Goals #5 –
Maintaining the Financial Stability of the Affiliate – The stability
of our organization financial situation is still very sound.
-
Goal #6 – Mission
Statement Review and Revision – The Board will unveil the new and
improved Mission Statement shortly.
This progress would not have been possible without your NAPM-Arizona Board
of Directors. The Board is made up of some talented individuals who
volunteer their time for the improvement of our organization. We also
appreciate your continued support in NAPM-Arizona.
We
look forward in seeing you in 2007.
Sincerely yours,
Chad West, C.P.M., CFPM
