Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) Program
Transform yourself and make the move to gain supply management's most prestigious designation. ISM launched the Certified Professional in Supply Management® (CPSM®) program in May 2008. The CPSM® is the credential that surpasses the demands of the international marketplace with multi-faceted skills in areas such as finance, supplier relationship management, organizational global strategy and risk compliance. It can give you the edge you need in this global marketplace along with the potential to earn 23 percent more (ISM 2011 Salary Survey).
Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity® (CPSD™) Program
The CPSD™ is a professional designation for supply professionals who demonstrate knowledge, skills and expertise in supplier diversity. CPSD™ is also for business professionals with responsibility for strategic diversity initiatives. This professional designation demonstrates to your employer, your colleagues, your suppliers and even your customers that you are serious about helping your organization and diverse suppliers succeed. The CPSD™ is supported by various diversity organizations.
Certified in Supply Management™ (CSM™)
Prove you have broad-based knowledge in all the major components of supply management. ISM's newest credential, Certified in Supply Management™ (CSM™), was developed to allow practitioners a way to demonstrate knowledge in supply management, regardless of whether they have a college degree. It validates your supply management body of knowledge and skills in areas such as finance, supplier relationship management, organizational global strategy and risk compliance.
Congratulations to the First CPSM®!
ISM is pleased to announce Michael G. Haynes, CPSM, C.P.M., of Surprise, Arizona as the first Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM®). "This is really good news, and it's an honor to be the first CPSM®," Haynes says. "I'll do my best to help ISM achieve the same level of respect for the CPSM® that was achieved with the C.P.M."
Haynes passed all three CPSM® Exams as a pilot participant through ISM's Arizona affiliate, ISM - AZ.
Haynes is a lifetime C.P.M. whose career in supply management encompasses 17 management/executive positions within five different organizations. He is currently employed by Siemens Building Technologies Inc. and has taught procurement courses at Penn State University, conducted C.P.M. exam review courses, and led seminars at several ISM affiliates. (Maybe you have taken one of his classes!) Having completed the CPSM® Train-the-Trainer Program, Haynes says he also plans to provide professional development and training for the CPSM® certification.
