ISM-Arizona is pleased to offer an informative, one-day seminar on
Friday, March 23rd that will provide an active, “hands-on” simulation
of Lean Six Sigma for Supply Chain Management professionals. Through active
engagement of specific roles within the simulation, attendees will assimilate
the key principles of Lean Six Sigma in order to develop a structured,
common-sense approach to become more efficient and effective. The seminar will
focus on:

The Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control,
problem-solving approach

About the
Presenter:
The instructor will be Paul Sandell, a Lean
Six Sigma Senior Master Black Belt. He began his experience in Lean and Six
Sigma processes back in 1996, while he was employed at Allied Signal and became
a Master Black Belt in 2001. Paul is also certified as a Business Process
Manager and Lean Expert. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics and a Masters
in Business Administration. Paul is an adjunct faculty member at Arizona State
University, Thunderbird International, and the University of Phoenix, teaching a
variety of Six Sigma, Quality, Operations, and Project Management classes.
Paul has been employed by Intel since April 2008, within the Hard
Intellectual Property organization. Prior to joining Intel, he has held Lean
Six Sigma leadership positions at Wells Fargo and AlliedSignal/Honeywell. In
addition, he has worked for several Fortune 600 companies in a variety of
Logistics, Purchasing, and Transportation management positions.
